This 4 DVD set takes on core development with a high energy approach and fast, intricate routines. Jaana Kunitz and Julia Powers explain and teach the fundamentals of Latin dance backed by an upbeat Latin music soundtrack.
All the workouts are dance-oriented with no floor work, continually working abdominals, legs and back muscles.
DVD 1: The Core Rhythms Kick Start systematically teaches every dance move step by step. The on screen visual sidebar lets you choose from different views of the workout and time your steps to the music.
DVD 2: The Core Rhythms Full Workout features instruction on the 3 core movements involved in Latin dancing. The instructors’ energy is infectious and very motivating. This is a strenuous workout that will really bring on the burn.
DVD 3: The Core Rhythms Quick Workout is basically the full workout condensed to just 20 minutes.
DVD 4: Latin Dance Made Easy teaches 3 popular Latin dances routines that can be used with your partner on the dance floor.
We’ve heard some complaints about sub par service through the manufacturer’s website but the DVDs themselves deliver what they promise. The system should be used 3-5 times per week for best results. The package comes with a 7 day diet guide.
