The Everlast 6-Piece Platform Bag Set is a good starter set for those just getting interested in boxing. Working a speed bag is one of the best exercises for building speed and agility.

The set comes with a leather speed bag, a 24-inch wooden platform with adjustable brackets, a swivel, a pair of bag gloves, a pair of hand wraps, and a nylon jump rope

The hand wraps and gloves provide the protection needed when training. The jump rope is a nice addition for some aerobic training.

Note that the speed bag color may vary and ship in either black or red. The bag movement is not always silky smooth and may slowly unscrew from the swivel during an extended workout.

Considering the reasonable price for a comprehensive 6-piece package, these minor issues are acceptable. Bag and swivel upgrades are available.
