The Smooth Fitness Agile DMT X2 takes Elliptical design to a new level, literally. Dynamic Adjustable Motion alters the elliptical path from a flat stride to an elevated motion, enhancing range, incorporating more muscles and providing a more strenuous workout. It was voted Best new elliptical for 2010 by Treadmill Doctor, a well-respected fitness equipment review site.

An upgrade to the DMT X1, the DMT X2 also adds an iPod docking station with speakers, a more appealing LCD display and Light Touch motion and resistance and intensity control.

Varying your stride and elliptical motion involves additional core and leg muscles and a greater range of motion, burning more calories and providing a more comprehensive and effective workout.

This high-end machine is expectedly solid, stable and very quiet. The nine preset exercise programs are comprehensive and varied, or you can create your own. Multiple user profiles are also available.

The LCD console displays resistance profile, motion profile, speed, RPM, time, distance, program level, watts, pulse and calories.

Assembly is an involved process — otherwise there’s not much to criticize here. The Smooth Agile DMT X2 provides a comfortable, productive and all-encompassing workout.
