As the most advanced entry in the Sole E series, the E95 model is a premium, commercial grade, high-end elliptical trainer. It’s our Best Buy Elliptical for 2009.
On the surface, aside from a different colored display, the E95 looks nearly identical to the lower-priced E55 model. Other reviewers have criticized this while implying, or stating outright, that the E95 is not worth the extra expense, without noting the differences.
We prefer to dig a bit deeper to determine what justifies the price increase. While the E55 is still highly recommended, the E95 includes significant upgrades — a higher weight capacity (400 pounds), a heavier flywheel, four additional resistance levels, molded hand grips, and an improved LED display.
The beautifully designed E95 offers a stable, smooth workout with ample top-end resistance. The heavy 30-lb flywheel and long 20-inch stride length increase the stability and efficiency of your workout.
The 2009 model includes a power incline feature that adjusts from 15-40 degrees, allowing you to work different muscle groups and add some variety to your routines.
