The EXM25005 approaches health club quality for its durability, versatility and smooth operation. A wide range of exercises are available in a relatively small footprint and moving from one exercise to the next is quick and uncomplicated.

The ergonomic design is relatively simple but offers 7 workouts stations built around a rugged steel frame that includes a 210 lb alloy steel weight stack.

A sample of the available exercises includes chest press, seated row, shrug, standing curl, pectoral fly, deltoid raise, leg extension, standing leg curl, lat pull down, cable crossover, ab crunch, tricep extension, tricep pressdown.

The thick DuraFirm Pads with lumbar support provide comfort and reduce lower back strain. A powder coat finish protects against scratching, chipping and peeling.

The Marcy MWM-950 from Impex Inc. effectively delivers the bare essentials in a home gym, but not much more. This is not a bad option for those wanting a wide variety of basic exercises without paying for unwanted extras.

To it’s credit, the multi-function design packs a wide array of upper and lower body exercises into a single unit. Each exercise uses the same pulley system so you wont be spending time on complicated adjustments. The 150 pound stack will be enough weight for most users.

Core features include a dual-function press arm for bench, incline and shoulder exercises as well as pectoral flys. Also included are high and low pulley stations, a curved lat bar, rotation straight bar, ankle strap, and a leg developer with a pivot point to help properly align knee joints.

The assembled gym is very compact and fits nicely in the corner of a room. At just under 7′ high it’s a good fit for a basement or other room with low ceilings.
