The G-Shock Mudman’s durable black resin case is impervious to water, mud and dust, yet relatively lightweight. The display has nice contrast and a bright backlight, making it easy to read all functions in low light conditions.

This watch is loaded with more features than most owners will ever use. It includes a 1/100-second stopwatch with a 60-minute measuring capacity and a 24-hour countdown timer. There are four independent daily alarms (with one snooze alarm) and an optional hourly time signal.

Other features include a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), suitable for recreational scuba diving.

The primary complaint about this model is difficulty manipulating the buttons. This should be expected from a device intended to operate under extreme conditions without the settings being inadvertently adjusted.
